Walmart Black Friday store hours for Friday (Nov. 24)
Walmart is closed on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 23) but the nation’s largest retailer will be open for business on Black Friday.
And you can expect things to be busy.
Last year, there were 196.7 million shoppers in the U.S. on Black Friday 2022, accounting for more than $188.2 billion in sales in the three-day weekend following Thanksgiving.
Walmart will open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday (Nov. 24) and will remain open until 11 p.m. Black Friday deals will be available in-store on that day, two days after they were first posted online. Sensory-friendly hours will be in place from 8-10 a.m. each day with lower lighting, no store music and static images on the in-store televisions.
After Black Friday, the next big sale day for Walmart will be Cyber Monday on Nov. 27.
For the first time, Walmart+ members will get three hours of early access to Cyber Monday deals. Through Nov. 8, membership is being offered for $49, half off the everyday price. Members receive free delivery and shipping, fuel savings and a Paramount+ subscription.
Black Friday at Walmart
Here are some of the new offerings at Walmart for Black Friday:
Track deals
Brand new this year, members and customers shopping on Walmart.com or the Walmart app can save their favorite deals by ‘hearting’ items to automatically create a personalized list called ‘My Saved Deals.’ Customers can then use the heart functionality to track deals and be notified as they become available. They can also add entire list to their cart and check out in seconds. ‘My Saved Deals’ lists can be shared with friends and family.
Holiday wish list and toy registry
Customers can create their own registry which can be shared with others. Walmart is also creating a toy wish list that children can create and share.
