Walgreens closing dozens of stores in 13 states: Here’s the complete list
Walgreens is closing hundreds of stores by the end of the summer and more than a thousand through the next three years.
All of the locations set for shutdown have been identified as “underperforming.”
Walgreens announced in late 2024 it would shut down around 1,200 locations, targeting stores where the property is owned by the company or where leases are expiring. The national chain operates more than 8,500 locations in the U.S.
According to media reports, the following Walgreens will close in May:
