Vote for the top Coastal Alabama FB Player of Week 10

Check out the nominees for the Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week for Week 10 of the 2022 high school football season.

Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday.

Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. They can be emailed to [email protected].

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Cole Blaylock, UMS-Wright: The South Alabama commit rallied the top-ranked Bulldogs past No. 7 Faith Academy in the second half. Limited to only 4 carries in the opening half, Blaylock finished with 20 carries for 144 yards and a touchdown and hauled in a 37-yard reception for 181 all-purpose yards.

Christopher Bracy, St. Paul’s: Bracy rushed for 100 yards and 3 TDs on 20 carries as the Saints secured a Class 6A playoff berth with a win over Baldwin County.

DJ Butler, Davidson: Butler rushed for 236 yards and 2 TDs as the Warriors defeated Alma Bryant 28-7.

Daylon Edmunds, Millry: Edmunds completed 10-of-13 passes for 206 yards and 4 TDs as the Wildcats upset No. 2 Leroy. He also rushed for 63 yards on 17 carries.

Josh Flowers, Baker: Flowers rushed for 51 yards and a 1-yard TD and passed 149 yards and a pair of third-quarter touchdowns in the Hornets’ playoff-clinching win over Fairhope.

Trey Inge, McGill-Toolen: Inge rushed for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Yellow Jackets pulled away to beat Blount.

Brayden Jenkins, Theodore: Jenkins rushed for 213 yards and 2 TDs on 38 workmanlike carries as the No. 3 Bobcats rallied to top Class 6A No. 1 Saraland 27-26.

Ronnie Royal, Gulf Shores: Royal helped the Dolphins to a win at Vigor, finishing the night with 11 carries for 135 yards and a touchdown, three receptions for 42 yards and 33 return yards to account for 210 yards. He also intercepted a pass.

Kyree Shakur, Chickasaw: Shakur rushed for 142 yards and a TD on 27 carries as Chickasaw won its third straight game.

Deshune Williams, Blount: In a losing effort, Williams still rushed for 241 yards and 3 touchdowns in a loss to McGill-Toolen. He scored on runs of 51, 42 and 1 yard.
