Voting closes at 11 p.m. on Wednesday with results posted on Thursday so make your selection below.

Players are selected from nominations by coaches or from AL.com game reports.

Garrett Ames, Mortimer Jordan: Completed all 10 of his pass attempts for 214 yards with five for touchdowns against Jackson-Olin.

Tyrell Averhart, Hewitt-Trussville: Contributed seven tackles with four tackles-for-loss and two quarterback pressures against Chelsea.

Brock Bradley, Spain Park: Completed 11-of-13 passes for 194 yards and four touchdowns against Oak Mountain.

Cole Gamble, Mountain Brook: Rushed for 276 yards and five touchdowns (45, 31, 5, 1 and 3 yards) against Gardendale.

John Paul Head, Vestavia Hills: Completed 13-of-18 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown, adding 16 runs for 137 yards and three touchdowns against Tuscaloosa County.

Colben Landrew, Thompson: Caught four passes for 114 yards with two 46-yard touchdown receptions against Hoover.

Carson McFadden, John Carroll: Totaled 335 yards and six touchdowns, completing 11-of-16 passes for 243 yards and two scores, rushing 13 times for 73 yards and three TDs and catching a 10-yard scoring pass against Wenonah.

Martavius Purnell, Parker: Had eight carries for 100 yards and three touchdowns against Huffman.

Luke Reynolds, Briarwood: Scored two touchdowns on 20 runs for 221 yards (breaking the school record for most rushing yards in a game previously held by Tim Castille) and also recorded five tackles, including a sack and tackle-for-loss against Homewood.

JaKhael Rowser, Hueytown: Ran 13 times for 114 yards and four touchdowns, adding 196 yards on four kickoff returns and blocked a punt against Central-Tuscaloosa.

Kristian Stinson, Ramsay: Caught three passes for 127 yards against Carver.

Clarence Taylor, Pleasant Grove: Caught six passes, three for touchdowns, for 168 yards against Jasper.

Decorrion Thomas, Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa: Ran only twice, but both were for touchdowns (69 yards and 15 yards) against McAdory.
