Big plays by Gerritt Holcombe and Carlos Benjamin paced No. 4 Vigor to a 19-2 win over No. 8 Williamson in Class 5A, Region 1 action at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Friday night.

Holcombe scored on a 65-yard flea-flicker pass from Dylan Jackson, while Benjamin scored on an 84-yard run, and Demetris Johnson scored on an 8-yard run to assure the Wolves of the Region 1 title and keep them undefeated at 9-0 overall and 6-0 in region play.
