Video shows Taco Bell-loving bear making off with Florida family’s $45 Uber eats order

A black bear with an apparent taste for Crunchwrap Supremes made a “run for the border” last week and left an Orlando, Fla.-area family hungry after making off with a $45 Uber eats delivery from Taco Bell.

In a Ring video posted to social media by the family, the driver can be seen leaving the large bag of food on the porch of the home, where Laidy Guiterrez and Daniel Bula, along with their niece, Nicole Castro, were waiting for their dinner, according to FOX35 in Orlando.

But just minutes after the driver departs, the bear appears, grabbing the top of the bag and quickly wandering away. The video then cuts to the family, having been notified via Uber Eats their meal had been delivered, coming outside to find nothing more than an empty soft drink cup, because the bear had evidently returned for the tray of drinks, too.

“He came, and he grabbed the food – then he came again for the soda,” Castro said.

Gutierrez told the TV station bear sightings are common in their Longwood neighborhood in Orlando, but a taco-stealing bear is a first. She also said having a black bear on their porch was a bit disconcerting. Now, they check the cameras before exiting the house.

Uber Eats issued a refund for the bear-nabbed food.
