Huntsville police say they are asking for the public’s help to identify a person seen on video leaving the scene of a deadly shooting on Christmas Day.

“The individual was captured on camera leaving the residence just after the shooting occurred,” police said in a statement.

The shooting happened on Wednesday around 2 p.m. at a home on Uvalde Lane, according to police.

Leah Jones, 37, was killed, according to Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill.

Berryhill said her death was ruled a homicide.
