Victoria’s Secret ‘security incident:’ Website down, in-store services limited
One of the world’s biggest lingerie retailers has shut down its website and limited in-store services due to a “security incident.”
Customers at Victoria’s Secret’s website will read the following message:
“Valued customer, we identified and are taking steps to address a security incident,” the site said. “We have taken down our website and some in store services as a precaution. Our team is working around the clock to fully restore operations. We appreciate your patience during this process.

“In the meantime, our Victoria’s Secret and PINK stores remain open and we look forward to serving you,” the website stated
Few details have emerged about the incident, including the exact timing, industry site RetailDive reported. Victoria’s Secret said it’s working to fulfill orders placed before May 26 and customers will get an email when their order is processed.
When full online operations, including online customer service, will be restored in unknown, according to the website.

Stores are currently unable to process returns for online orders. Customers will get 30 additional days to process returns and coupons and rewards points will be honored through June 1.
Victoria’s Secret has about 20% of the intimate apparel market share in North America and reported about $6.2 billion in net sales in 2024, according to company earning’s reports.
