Victim flown to hospital in Alabama road rage shooting, 2 suspects sought

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people in connection with a suspected road rage shooting.

At about 11 p.m. Tuesday, a person arrived at Athens-Limestone Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, whose name has not been released, was flown to Huntsville Hospital.

Investigators believe the shooting happened in the area of Cowford Road and Nuclear Plant Road.

After an altercation, authorities said, two people exited their vehicle with weapons and began to fire at the victim’s vehicle as it sped away.

The suspects then traveled east on Nuclear Plant Road and turned north on Lucas Ferry Road in an unknown red sedan that could have minor rear-end damage.

Anyone with information should contact Capt. Caleb Durden or Investigator Steven Ferguson at (256) 232-0111.
