A Vestavia Hills woman was killed in a Friday crash in Mountain Brook.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday identified the fatality victim as Kathleen A. Troup. She was 73.

The wreck happened at 2:13 p.m. in the 4500 block of Dolly Ridge Road. Authorities said no other vehicles were involved.

Troup was taken to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 4:16 p.m. Friday.

Mountain Brook police worked the fatal accident.
