Vanna White signs ‘partial’ Wheel of Fortune deal, but it could get ugly

Vanna White has a deal in place for “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” according to TMZ.

The report, citing sources, indicates “Wheel of Fortune,” the syndicated version, has yet to be worked out, and negotiations are on hold due to the writers’ strike. TMZ reports, though, that Sony is “not receptive to her demands.”

TMZ sources shared White’s attorney Bryan Freedman told Sony she wanted 50 percent of what Pat Sajak was making for “Celebrity,” but Sony would not disclose his salary.

TMZ reports Sajak made $400,000 an episode, and White “settled” for $100k an episode.

Sajak made $15 million a year for “Wheel.” It was reported last month that White has made $3 million for years and hasn’t received a raise in years.

The story goes on to explain, citing a source, that Sony believes Sajak’s salary was too high and shouldn’t be used for a comparison.

“It’s gonna get ugly if they (Sony) don’t get more serious,” a source told TMZ.

White has different contracts for each show.

White’s “Celebrity” contract was up, so a deal made since, but there is still a year left on her “Wheel” contract, per TMZ.
