UPS hiring 100,000 seasonal workers: How much can you earn?
UPS plans to hire more than 100,000 seasonal employees to help handle the rush of holiday shopping, the company announced.
Jobs include full and part-time positions, primarily for seasonal delivery drivers, Commercial Driver’s License drivers and package handlers. Permanent positions can be available for those who apply early, UPS said, and most digital applications can be completed in less than 20 minutes. About 80% of seasonal positions don’t require an interview.
“The best talent delivers the best service. That’s why we’re proud to offer industry-leading pay for UPS part-timers, full-timers and seasonal employees alike,” said Nando Cesarone, Executive Vice President and President, U.S.
There are multiple shifts available in locations across the country.
Hourly pay will start at $23 for seasonal package drivers and $21 for package handlers, both increasing from $21 and $15.50 over last year, respectively, Business Insider reported.
