Updated heights, weights from 2024 Senior Bowl weigh-in
The Reese’s Senior Bowl weigh-in is in the books, and all the official numbers have been logged for the annual all-star game and NFL draft showcase.
The weigh-in is no longer open to media in the post-pandemic age, but all the numbers were released on the official rosters Monday. Below are the key numbers for in-state players and those with in-state ties (including those who transferred away).

Height and weight numbers from the weigh-in often vary significantly from those listed on school rosters, particularly height. Weight variations are typically intentional, with players either adding “good” weight or shedding “bad” during pre-draft training.
• Braswell (listed at 6-3, 292 by Alabama) and Reichard (6-1, 194) just about nailed their listed heights and weights, while Eboigbe is about an inch shorter than listed.
• Pritchett is about an inch shorter than listed (6-1), while James and Simpson are more than inch shorter than listed (6-1). James has put on some weight, up from 164 on the Auburn roster.
• Bradley checked in right at his listed height and weight (6-3, 216), as did Vidal (5-8, 216). Solomon is a bit shorter than listed (6-2), but has massive hands and wingspan for someone a shade over six feet tall.
• Quarterback height, weight and hand size is always much-discussed during Senior Bowl week. Tennessee’s Joe Milton “won the weigh-in” in that regard, at a true 6-foot-5, 235 with 10.3-inch hands. Washington’s Michael Penix also had mitts that measured 10-3.
Here are the comparative numbers of the seven quarterbacks in Mobile this week:
Name | School | Ht. | Wt. | Hand |
---|---|---|---|---|
Sam Hartman | Notre Dame | 6-1.0 | 209 | 9-5 |
Michael Penix | Washington | 6-2.4 | 212 | 10-3 |
Bo Nix | Oregon | 6-1.7 | 218 | 9-7 |
Spencer Rattler | South Carolina | 6-0.1 | 219 | 9-6 |
Joe Milton | Tennessee | 6-5.0 | 235 | 10-3 |
Carter Bradley | South Alabama | 6-3.0 | 218 | 9-3 |
Michael Pratt | Tulane | 6-2.3 | 216 | 9-0 |

• Shortest player: TCU RB Emani Bailey — 5-7.3 (215 pounds)
