Unidentified male found dead in Baldwin County likely a victim of foul play
Investigators are hoping the public can help identify a male victim whose remains were found April 8 in the Seminole community in Baldwin County.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said Friday deputies were dispatched to hunting property along Highway 90 in Seminole, where the body was located in a tree line.
Investigation determined the body had been there several days and, based on the condition of the body and other evidence found at the scene, foul play is suspected.
While investigators wait on reports from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences and other forensic data, they say the victim is short in stature, and a Caucasian or Hispanic male.
The victim was wearing brown jogging-style pants with cargo pockets, slide style And1 flip flops, and a blue paisley shirt. The sheriff’s office released photos of the shirt and flip flops in the hopes it might lead to information on the victim’s identity.
