The renewal of the “Battle for the Bones” rivalry between UAB and Memphis has a kickoff time and national television slot.

UAB and Memphis met 15 times when both programs were members of Conference USA and the Blazers own a 10-5 series lead.

The last matchup saw Memphis take a 46-9 win over the Blazers in Birmingham during the 2012 season, a little more than a year before Bill Clark was hired in December 2014, but UAB has a three-game and seven-game winning streak in the series. The Tigers have never won more than two consecutive games.

UAB will return home to face the Tigers in its first “blackout” game, following the road trip to UTSA on Saturday, and currently sits at 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the AAC after their 56-35 win over South Florida.
