U2, Notre Dame team up for exclusive vinyl release of upcoming ‘Songs of Surrender’ album
Notre Dame is partnering with rock band U2 to produce a limited-edition vinyl pressing of the group’s upcoming “Songs of Surrender” album.
The album is set to drop March 17 on Interscope Records.
Notre Dame is the only collegiate property partnering with U2 for their album release, which will feature Fighting Irish-inspired design elements.
The Notre Dame special edition album package will include:
- Notre Dame gold and blue vinyl records.
- Liner sleeves with pictures of the band members with a Notre Dame color presentation.
- The Notre Dame Monogram featured on the included poster.
- The Notre Dame Monogram on all four record labels.
- A co-branded Notre Dame sticker on the front cover of the album wrapper.
U2 has been connected to Notre Dame since its performance in the Joyce Center in 2001, the band’s first performance after 9/11 and the kickoff of the third leg of their Elevation tour. The concert was also one of the first the group streamed live to audiences around the world.
The limited-edition vinyl is available to pre-order online now while supplies last.
