Two teens wounded in Friday night shooting in Center Point area
An investigation is underway after two teens were injured in a shooting Friday in eastern Jefferson County.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched just before 6 p.m. to reports of shots fired near the 1800 block of Martinique Drive N.E. in the Center Point area, said Deputy Chief David Agee.
Once deputies got on the scene, they found the two wounded victims, who are ages 16 and 19.
Both were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, Agee said.
Investigators are reviewing video and talking to witnesses to determine what happened.
