Two young teens have been charged in the July shooting death of a 16-year-old boy.

Montgomery police on Thursday said a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old, both boys, are charged with reckless murder.

Their names are not being released because of their ages. The victim’s name also has not been released.

The 16-year-old victim died Monday, July 24, two days after he was shot in the area of West Edgemont Avenue. The circumstances surrounding the shooting also have not been released.

The young suspects were taken into custody earlier today. They are being held without bond.
