Two new stores are coming to Birmingham’s The Summit.

California-based TravisMathew will be opening its first Alabama location this fall at 205 Summit Blvd., while Halloween seasonal retailer Spirit will open next month.

TravisMathew showcases Southern California’s culture through its brand of lifestyle and performance apparel for men, women and children.

Spirit offers costumes, decorations, accessories, collectibles, and other spectral products to satisfy spooky customers.

“Indulge Your Imagination. Find Your Perfect Costume. Scream Sold Separately,” reads a statement for the store at The Summit’s website.

Several new stores have been added to The Summit’s roster in 2023.

Upscale eyeglass retailer Warby Parker opened last month. Several high-profile names have been added, including men’s and women’s underwear and apparel store Tommy John, women’s fashion franchise Evereve, denim apparel retailer Buckle, jewelry store Pandora, Emmy Squared Pizza, The Normal Brand and Nordstrom Rack.

The Summit 16 also began a $5 million renovation.
