Two Jefferson County bingo halls reportedly raided by Attorney General’s office
Two bingo halls accused of illegal gambling were raided on Wednesday by the Alabama Attorney General’s office.
According to WBRC, both raids occurred in Jefferson County, at halls located in Lipscomb and Pinson Valley Parkway.
According to the report, 130 machines were seized at the Lipscomb location and the Attorney General’s office said the hall was operating without a license.
Another 100 machines were seized at the hall on Pinson Valley Parkway.
Efforts to reach the attorney general’s office were not immediately successful.
