Tuscumbia woman arrested after 2 dogs left with no food, water found dead, decomposing
A Tuscumbia woman has been charged with two counts of second degree animal cruelty.
According to court records, Carla Ann Gezelman, 39, was arrested Saturday.
Investigators say Gezelman left two dogs inside a house with no access to food or water, failing to check on them.
This lead to their “possible death and decomposition,” the documents allege.
She has an Aug. 7 court date scheduled. According to jail records, Gezelman was released on bond.
