Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, Derrick Henry player prop picks for NFL Week 12
If there was a stock chart for teams with Alabama star football players on their rosters, the stocks would be trending up.
Miami is starting to get in sync offensively again and potentially making a late run for a playoff spot. The Baltimore Ravens are 7-4 and look to be on their way to contending once again. The Philadelphia Eagles overtook the top spot in the NFC East in Week 11.
Entering Week 12, the season is far from over. However, thanks to the high-level play of Crimson Tide royalty, these teams are optimistic entering the season’s final seven weeks. Without them, it’s hard to project where each organization would be at this point in the season.
Here are our Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts and Derrick Henry player prop picks for NFL Week 12.

Tua Tagovailoa interceptions thrown under 0.5
Best odds: -145 at BetMGM
Since his return in Week 8, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has played clean football. Through his 130 passing attempts, the quarterback has thrown only one interception. He’s facing a Patriots pass defense with four interceptions, ranking tied for fifth-least in the NFL.
Working in his favor, the Patriots struggled to slow down the Dolphins’ rushing attack earlier this season. Miami RB De’Von Achane exited early with an injury, but Jaylen Wright and Raheem Mostert each carved out the New England defense for 80+ yards.
Assuming the Dolphins’ offense can remain in rhythm, the balanced attack combined with Tagovailoa’s impressive decision making should prevent the star passer from throwing any interceptions Sunday.
Jalen Hurts passing TDs under 1.5
Best odds: -180 at bet365
No team averages more rushing touchdowns per game this season than the Philadelphia Eagles. While part of that is because of the talent of RB Saquon Barkley, it’s also because of how Philadelphia operates in short-field situations.
Hurts ranks outside the top 20 for pass attempts inside the 20-, 15-, 10- and 5-yard line. So, for the quarterback to put up multiple touchdown scores, they generally have to come from splash plays.
In five road games this season, Hurts has thrown two or more touchdowns only once – against the Dak Prescott-less Dallas Cowboys. Philadelphia won, 34-6. In a game against the Rams, expect a tighter score to generate more conservative playcalling.
Derrick Henry under 19.5 carries
Best odds: -125 at DraftKings
Fresh off of his outing with 13 carries and 65 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Derrick Henry and the Ravens now square off with the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.
The Chargers’ run defense is extremely stout, and teams know it. Opposing offenses average in the bottom five for total rushing attempts per game.
In a backfield shared with one of the best scrambling quarterbacks in the league, the Ravens likely will not have enough carries to go around, especially when matched up against a staff that has so much schematic overlap with themselves.
Additionally, the Ravens set to enter a late-season stretch requiring them to play three games over 10 days. With health being so pivotal in postseason success, the priority will be keeping stars healthy. Starting to reel back Henry’s touches through the back third of the season seems likely.
