Troy football announces 4 transfer additions, including 3 with state/SEC ties

Troy on Monday announced the addition of four football transfers, including two from inside the state and three who previously played at SEC schools.

Safety David Daniel-Sisavanh (Georgia), defensive end Deairich Jackson (Coffeyville Community College) and offensive linemen Vysen Lang (Tennessee) and Garner Langlo (Appalachian State) are all officially part of the Trojans’ program. Lang played his high school football at Pike Road in Montgomery, while Langlo is a native of Hartford and began his college career at Auburn.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Daniel-Sisavanh, who announced his commitment last week, won national titles with the Bulldogs in 2021 and 2022 before being dismissed from the team prior last summer. The former four-star recruit from Woodstock, Ga., played in 34 games on both defense and special teams in three seasons at Georgia, totaling 30 tackles and two pass breakups. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Jackson (6-4,255) played his freshman year on the FCS level at Carson-Newman before transferring to junior college in Kansas. At Coffeyville, the Fayetteville, Ga., native totaled 42 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a pass break up and two blocked kicks. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Lang (6-4, 340) played in six games at center and guard the last two seasons with the Volunteers, and has three years of eligibility remaining. He was a 3-star prospect and an All-State selection at Pike Road, which he helped to the 5A state championship in 2021.

Langlo (6-7, 300) started six games at left guard at App State in 2024, and has one season of eligibility remaining. He was a three-star recruit in the 2021 signing class out of Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Fla., and spent two seasons at Auburn without seeing any game action. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The Trojans could add additional transfer signees in the coming days. The Trojans also have portal commitments from safety Steven Sannieniola (Vanderbilt), offensive tackle Patrick Screws (Georgia Tech), wide receiver Tray Taylor (Coastal Carolina), cornerback Jaquez White (Washburn) and running back Jamontez Woods (West Florida). Woods — a former Gadsden City standout — previously played at Troy from 2019-22, but announced in December he would return to the Trojans for a seventh and final season of college football in 2025.

Troy finished 4-8 in 2025, its first season under head coach Gerad Parker.
