Trader Joe’s recall: Do not eat this herb sold in 30 states, including Alabama
Trader Joe’s is recalling its organic basil sold in 30 states–including in Alabama– due to potential salmonella contamination.
The grocer is recalling Infinite Herbs Organic Basil sold in 2.5-ounce packages between February 1, 2024 and April 6, 2024, according to an announcement.
The packages of basil were sold in Alabama Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, NebraskNew Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia.
Trader Joe’s is asking customers who purchased the product during that date range to discard it or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
