Topgolf coming to Panama City Beach in 2025, city officials announce
Less than a month after Mobile officials cut the ribbon on a Topgolf facility, Panama City officials have announced a Topgolf will be opening there in 2025.
The Panama City Beach city council unanimously approved plans for the Topgolf, currently estimated as a $26 million facility which will be located on property in the Pier Park area of Panama City, according to WJHG.
Once open, the Panama City Beach Topgolf will be the 10th in Florida.
“It’s very exciting for Panama City Beach. To be the 10th location for Topgolf tells you everyone sees what we already know,” Panama City Beach Mayor Mark Sheldon told the outlet.
“We live in paradise. We are the gem of the Panhandle. We continue to say what Panama City Beach is. We continue to tell our story. And now you can tell, by people spending millions of dollars investing in Panama City Beach, they see it. They understand it. They want to be part of this as well.”
Officials said the Panama City Beach Topgolf will be modeled after the one opened last month in Mobile and will include a miniature golf course. The Mobile location was built at a cost of $22 million, with two decks encompassing 60 swing bays, along with a indoor-outdoor bar and restaurant area.
Mobile joined Huntsville and Birmingham as Topgolf locations in Alabama.
