‘TMZ Presents: The Menendez Brothers: The Prison Interview’: How to watch, where to stream free
The new TMZ Presents: The Menendez Brothers: The Prison Interview premieres on FOX Monday, April 7 at 9/8c.
In the exclusive prison interview, both Lyle and Erik Menendez are breaking their silence to address their last chance of freedom. The brothers have been behind bars for decades following the grisly murders of their parents, Kitty and Jose in August 1989.
Although a good portion of the interview highlights what the pair hope to do if they’re released from prison, viewers will also hear from key players including their lawyer, family members and the detective who put the siblings behind bars as TMZ rehashes the decades-old case.
Where can I watch TMZ Presents: The Menendez Brothers: The Prison Interview?
Those interested in catching the exclusive interview can stream it even without traditional cable through Fubo or DirecTV Stream. Both streaming services offer free trials to new subscribers before committing to a paid subscription.
What is Fubo?
Fubo considers itself a sports-focused live streaming service, but with over 100 live TV channels available through its base package, it offers subscribers much more than just stellar sports coverage.
The base package, which starts at just $84.99 a month after its free trial, includes popular TV channels such as ABC, FOX, BET, MTV, CNBC, MSNBC, USA and more.
Along with an impressive channel lineup, Fubo also offers its subscribers the ability to stream top TV shows and movies on-demand. Also, through the service’s unlimited DVR feature, Fubo users can record favorite content without needing to worry about storage.
What is DirecTV Stream?
DirecTV Stream mirrors Fubo by offering subscribers with a plethora of live TV channels and helpful features, too. The Entertainment package, also known as DirecTV Stream’s base package, starts at just $86.99 a month after its 5-day free trial and includes popular TV channels such as HGTV, ESPN, Bravo, CMT, CNBC, BET, CNN and more.
Two other DirecTV Stream packages are the Choice package (original price $114.99) and the Ultimate package (original price $129.99), both of which are part of an ongoing promotion that offers new subscribers $25 off the original price for the first three months of their subscription.
DirecTV Stream has also recently introduced a lineup of genre packs, which allow subscribers to choose their favorite viewing options based on what genre they watch the most. Whether it’s MySports, MyEntertainment, MyNews or MiEspañol, users can get the channels and content they want without the worry of filler channel overload. Genre packs start at just $34.99 a month.

The Menendez Brothers resentencing
The controversial case, which has been debated and discussed among the masses since its occurrence, has recently been in the headlines as the subject of resentencing was thrown out by the former Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón late last year.
Despite the then-District Attorney’s support of resentencing the pair to 50 years to life (which would make them immediately eligible for parole) the newly elected Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman continues to kick the resentencing hearings further down the road.
The hearings were initially scheduled in March, and then rescheduled for April 17 and 18, but have yet again been rescheduled for an unknown later date.
