TLC’s ‘Big Family, Big City’ is premiering Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 10/9c.

The one-hour special introduces viewers to the de la Mottes family, which includes parents Amber and Marc, along with their 11 children. In the special, the conservative de la Motte family of 13 experience a culture shock when they move from the peaceful suburbs of San Diego to the hustle and bustle of Harlem, New York.

Also in the show, viewers will catch a glimpse of the de la Motte family’s love of string instruments. According to Marc and Amber, music is the heartbeat of their home, and it helps the kids (ranging in age from 22 to six months) maintain structure in their lives while simultaneously giving them drive and purpose.
