‘Titanic: The Digital Resurrection’: How to watch, where to stream free

The brand new special Titanic: The Digital Resurrection premieres on National Geographic Friday, April 11 at 9/8c.

Though the historic ship has been explored countless times by experts since its sinking back in 1912, National Geographic is taking it a step further and revealing key information yet to be discovered or discussed in the upcoming special.

According to a brief synopsis released by National Geographic in relation to the project, Titanic: The Digital Resurrection is a “massive, cutting-edge undersea scanning project,” and throughout the special, viewers will get their first look at a never-before-seen high-res, 3D digital twin of the Titanic.

Where can I watch Titanic: The Digital Resurrection?

For those who have long since ditched the hassle of traditional cable services, you can still catch the new National Geographic special through Fubo, DirecTV Stream or Disney+.

Both Fubo and DirecTV Stream offer free trials to new subscribers, and those interested in streaming it through the other popular streaming service, Disney+, can commit to a paid plan and catch the special for just $10.99.

What is Fubo?

Fubo considers itself a sports-focused live streaming service, but with over 100 live TV channels available through its base package, it offers subscribers much more than just stellar sports coverage.

The base package, which starts at just $84.99 a month after its free trial, includes popular TV channels such as ABC, FOX, BET, MTV, CNBC, MSNBC, USA and more.

Along with an impressive channel lineup, Fubo also offers its subscribers the ability to stream top TV shows and movies on-demand. Also, through the service’s unlimited DVR feature, Fubo users can record favorite content without needing to worry about storage.

What is DirecTV Stream?

DirecTV Stream is similar to Fubo as it offers many of the same live TV channels and helpful features. Their base package—also referred to as the Entertainment package—starts at just $86.99 a month after its 5-day free trial and includes popular channels such as HGTV, ESPN, Bravo, CMT, CNBC, CNN, BET and much more.

Two other popular DirecTV Stream packages are the Choice package and the Ultimate package. Both plans are part of an ongoing promotion which offers new subscribers $25 off the original price of the plan for the first three months with a new subscription.
