Tickets are currently on sale for the June 18 “MiLB at Rickwood Field” game between the Birmingham Barons and Montgomery Biscuits.

Alabama residents may current purchase tickets through the MiLB website for $30 in the outfield and $100 behind home plate. There is a limit of 8 tickets per order.

The “MiLB at Rickwood Field” game (formerly the Rickwood Classic) comes two days before the St. Louis Cardinals meet the San Francisco Giants in the much-anticipated “Tribute to the Negro Leagues” game at Rickwood. Tickets for that game are available via a lottery system that closes on April 30.

For the June 18 minor-league game, the Barons (Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox) will wear the uniforms of the Birmingham Black Barons, the Negro League team that played at Rickwood through 1960. The Biscuits (Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) will wear uniforms of the Montgomery Gray Sox, that city’s most-notable Negro League team.
