Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 Magic City Classic.  The historic rivalry between the Alabama A&M University Bulldogs and the Alabama State University Hornets returns to Birmingham’s Legion Field on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Tickets are available for purchase on the Magic City Classic website. Tickets for reserved seats are $35. General admission game tickets (tickets with seats on a first-come, first-served basis) are $25.

Earlier this year, after months of negotiations, Alabama A&M signed an agreement with the city of Birmingham that would keep the historic rivalry against Alabama State at Legion Field through 2026.

Alabama A&M officials said the agreement with the city was signed “[a]fter a healthy dialogue with” city officials. “The University thanks Mayor [Randall] Woodfin and his team for working to reach an amicable solution and looks forward to the 82nd playing of the Magic City Classic in October.”

This year marks the 82nd edition of the Magic City Classic. Advanced tailgate spots for the game will go on sale in mid-September.
