This stock with Shoals ties leads bevy of gainers
Our Huntsville and Alabama Stock Report kicked off the week on a positive note.
Constellium led a large group of gainers on Monday, pulling up 4%. Constellium is a Paris-based global leader in the development, manufacturing and recycling of aluminum products and solutions, according to its website. Constellium Muscle Shoals is a major aluminum sheet supplier for the packaging and automotive markets. The plant has around 1,200 employees and more than 100 acres under roof, including five casting units, hot and cold rolling mills, and a slitting and finishing center.
Others increasing by at least 3%: Amazon (+3.9%), GE (+3.3%) and AT&T (+3%).
Adtran and Sanmina were among a group of eight decliners, falling 1.1% and .9%, respectively.
Overall, Wall Street clawed back some of its sharp recent losses Monday, ahead of a week that could see more big swings in financial markets.
Investors are looking forward to key reports on consumer confidence and the U.S. job market. The Federal Reserve announces its next move on interest rates Wednesday.
