This restaurant chain has opened 28 locations this year
Wendy’s is opening more locations.
In a blog post on May 22, the hamburger chain said it has opened 74 restaurants this year so far, including 28 new restaurants in the United States.
The new US locations are in 18 states. Here’s a look at where the new locations have opened, courtesy of USA TODAY.

You can find Wendy’s in grocery stores
Wendy’s signature square beef hamburger patties are available at grocery stores in Ohio and Colorado.
“Wendy’s is pursuing opportunities to bring our fresh, famous food to customers in new and exciting ways,” a Wendy’s spokesperson said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY. “Currently, Wendy’s fans in Columbus, Ohio and Denver, Colorado can pick up square patties at their local King Soopers or Kroger.”
New Wendy’s chicken sandwich
In April, Wendy’s introduced the Cajun Crunch Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The new sandwich, according toFood Republic,takes the chain’s spicy chicken fillet up a notch with Pepper-Jack cheese, Cajun crispy onions, and a spicy mustard sauce.
