The chicken Big Mac is finally coming to McDonald’s.

After months of anticipation, McDonald’s has finally announced when the Chicken Big Mac will be introduced to restaurants across the United States.

USA TODAY reports the sandwich is coming to McDonald’s in the U.S. starting Oct. 10.

The Chicken Big Mac is a twist on the classic Big Mac that replaces the sandwich’s beef with two tempura chicken patties.

Talks of the new big sandwich come after McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski taste-tested the Chicken Big Mac in March 2024, according to Quartz. Back in 2022, the sandwich was tested as a limited-time offer in Miami. The sandwich has been popular internationally, particularly in the U.K. and Australia.
