This Mobile stock shed nearly 20% on Thursday
It was a fairly even day on Wall Street in the wake of the latest inflation report, and it was as even as it could be on our Mobile and Alabama Stock Report, which had 14 gainers and 14 decliners.
The biggest number came on the down side as Computer Programs and Systems Inc. lost nearly 20% on the day, dropping $5.14 to close at a 52-week low of $21.01. Based in Mobile, it is a provider of health care solutions and services for community hospitals.
U.S. Steel was another decent-sized decline, falling 4.7%.
Outside of that, no stock lost more than 1.5% or gained more than 1.2%.
GE and Synovus topped the heap with 1.2% gains.
