Looking for your own mountain hideaway that’s maybe not so far away?

Little River Retreat, a lodge with three guest cabins situated in Fort Payne, is headed to auction Jan. 28.

The auction will take place at the property, located at 1975 County Rd. International Auction of Gadsden will conduct the auction live on-site, with telephone and Internet bidding available.

The two-level lodge features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, one half-bath and offers views of Little River Canyon and Weiss Lake. The property comes furnished.

In addition are three “never lived in” A-frame cabins, which can sleep up to six people. The property, surrounded by chain link fencing, can serve as a family getaway, a corporate retreat, or an Airbnb destination.

The property can also be viewed on three dates before the auction.
