This Dolly Parton-themed hotel suite is a Christmas wonderland: Here’s how much it costs

If you’ve ever watched “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” and envied the fancy hotel suite with the giant Christmas tree, now is your chance to stay in a room decked out with two trees, plus plenty of shiny baubles and sparkly garland. And pink! Lots and lots of pink.

That’s because it’s the “9 to 5” room at The Graduate Hotel in Nashville, a Dolly Parton-themed, over-the-top suite that sleeps four people. (And because designers at The Graduate by Hilton also watched the movies, they created tinseled “The Home Alone” suite at their hotel in Evanston, Ill. See it here).

Designers of the “9 to 5″ suite channeled Parton, who would surely approve of the blinged-out room.

The suite is “decked out for the holiday season, guaranteed to leave guests feeling the holiday spirit,” said Rebekah Brant, a spokeswoman for the company.

Brant said the suite, “like Dolly herself, is a true Nashville original. Inspired by Parton’s glamorous and glitzy style, this spacious suite is decked out for the holidays with tinsel, various shades of pink ornaments, and not one but two Christmas trees to accompany the pink feathers, disco ball-tile ceilings, and shag carpet you’ll find in the suite year-round.”

Another permanent decoration hangs above the bed – a neon sign with a well-known Parton quote: “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap.”

At the time of this writing, a quick check online shows the suite is booked on some days during the holidays but Christmas day and dates earlier in December are still available. The suite’s price starts at $659 per night. Click here for details.

The Graduate in Nashville, as might be expected, continues the country-music theme throughout the facility, featuring kids’ rooms with guitar-shaped headboards and an amazing 15-foot-long latch hook-rug portrait of Minnie Pearl behind the check-in desk. The lobby features pink plaid chairs and paintings of legendary country stars. But the most over-the-top feature is a 9-foot-high bust of Dolly made from chicken wire – and painted pink – in the rooftop bar. Click here to read about the statue.
