Birmingham has agreed to invest $600,000 to upgrade the former Save a Lot location at 833 Dennison Avenue Southwest for a planned new DG Market.

Save a Lot closed in 2023, just two years into a 10-year lease on the location, which was once a Food World at the Heritage Town Center.
