The new eatery, at 5870 Trussville Crossings Blvd., Suite 110, will hold a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Tuesday. It will open for business at 12 p.m.
Owner Ebonee Hammonds-Copeland said in a Facebook post that the restaurant’s soft opening “has been great! Thanks to everyone who came by to see us!”
Begun in 2013, the franchise has locations in Tuscaloosa and Huntsville, and plans others in Birmingham, Daphne, Gulf Shores, Madison, Mobile, Mountain Brook, Saraland and Spanish Fort.
After starting out of a Nashville city market, The Peach Cobbler Factory grew into a food truck before migrating to brick-and-mortar locations.
In all, company now spans 19 states and is currently on an aggressive expansion plan.
A Black-founded business, Peach Cobbler Factory’s top selling items include its namesake dessert (with vanilla ice cream on top), and their cobbler-stuffed cinnamon roll.
