‘The Librarians: The Next Chapter’ series premiere: How to watch, where to stream free
The brand new fantasy-adventures series The Librarians: The Next Chapter premieres on TNT Sunday, May 25 following the NBA Playoffs coverage.
The Librarians: The Next Chapter is a spinoff of the acclaimed original film franchise, and to celebrate the debut of the series, the network is doing a two-night premiere event starting Sunday. The second episode of the series will follow suit and premiere on Monday, May 26.
According to a Warner Bros. press release, the spinoff centers on Vikram Chamberlain (played by Callum McGowan) a “librarian” from the past who time traveled from 1847, finding himself stuck in present time.
After returning to his castle, which has since been converted into a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent, and to make things right, he is given a new team of librarians to help him clean up the mess he made.
