The famous Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to Alabama. Here’s how to see them
If you’ve never had a chance to see the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales and you live in central Alabama, you’re in luck next week.
According to officials with Adams Beverages Birmingham, the Clydesdales will be in Birmingham, Cullman and Hoover at a variety of events from Nov. 10 until Nov. 13.
Their Clydesdale magic will be on their carriage and they will also have Budweiser beer on their hitch and wagon.
The first event will take place on Nov. 10 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Piggly Wiggly on 2148 Tyler Road in Hoover. At that event, the Clydesdales will do their signature trot, take photos with fans and host an educational show.
Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato will ride along with the Clydesdales handler as they trot.
The next day, on Nov. 11, the Clydesdales will be present at the 75th Annual National Veterans Day Birmingham Parade taking place in downtown Birmingham. The Budweiser Clydesdales will lead the parade and procession, which starts at 11 a.m.
The Clydesdales will also be present at the official parade after-party, which is taking place at Carrigan’s Public House on 2430 Morris Ave. from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
On Saturday, Nov. 12, the Clydesdales will be present at Lakeview District Trot Parade.
Beginning at 2 p.m. and lasting until 4 p.m., the Clydesdales will carry Budweiser on their hitch down the block of 29th Street South, and deliver beer to restaurants and bars along Lakeview as an early Christmas present.
Finally, the Clydesdales will make an appearance on Nov. 13 in Cullman at the Cullman Christmas Market Open House.
The event, taking place from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., will be located at 209 1st Ave. Northeast in Cullman. The Clydesdales will trot, be present for photo opportunities and have a booth on site offering day-fresh Budweiser.
