The 71st Miss Universe Competition is set to kick off from New Orleans, La. Jan. 14, 2023.

This year’s competition will be hosted by Olivia Culpo and Jeannie Mai Jenkins rather than Steve Harvey who has hosted the pageant for the past five years.

According to the Miss Universe organization, the highly anticipated event will feature almost 90 women from around the globe vying for the job of Miss Universe, through the process of personal statements, in depth interviews and various categories including evening gown and swimwear.

The evening will culminate with the 70th Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu, who brought the title back to India for the first time in 21 years, crowning her successor.

How do I watch the 71st Miss Universe Competition?

The pageant can be live-streamed on the Roku Channel at 6 p.m. CST which can be accessed through Roku TVs, a Roku Streaming Stick and at Roku.com or with other streaming devices such as the Fire TV Stick.

The competition can also be watched in Spanish with Telemundo. Those who have ditched regular cable can access this channel with FuboTV or DirecTV Stream. Both offer free trials to first time subscribers.

Both streaming services are around the same price, however, FuboTV has more channel options to choose from.

The Miss Universe national costume show can also be streamed on the pageant’s YouTube channel Wednesday at 9 p.m. CST.
