The 2023 Golden Globe Awards: How to watch and where to stream
Hosted by Jerrod Carmichael, The 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on NBC Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 8/7c.
The awards show will honor the best in film and American television of 2022, as chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Be sure to check out the full list of nominations here.
Those who have ditched regular cable can still tune in tonight live with FuboTV or Peacock. If you’re not sure which streaming service to go with, we can break it down for you.
What is FuboTV and Peacock?
Peacock is specifically the streaming service for all things NBC with popular shows such as 30 Rock, The Office and Saturday Night Live. While not a live-streaming service, it does allow subscribers to live stream certain specials and events that air on NBC, such as The Golden Globes.
After it’s 7-day free trial, the streaming service offers a limited ad plan for $4.99 month or $9.99 with no ads. This makes it one of the cheaper streaming services available.
However, to watch The Golden Globes live, you’ll need the Peacock Premium Plus membership for $9.99 a month. Premium members can still catch the awards show, but will have to wait the next day to stream.
Meanwhile, FuboTV is one of the better alternatives to regular cable.
It is considered a sports-focused streaming service with over 100 other live channels to choose from with shows like Saturday Night Live, Yellowstone, The Voice and more for $69.99 a month.
FuboTV also offers a free trial for first time users so you can watch The Golden Globes for free before committing to anything.
