Texts show Alabama mother aided son in allegedly killing 18-year-old mom at Pensacola Home Depot
“If you don’t come kill her you a mf b**ch,” Sheila Agee wrote.
With Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff Chip Simmons calling it “incomprehensible,” investigators released a series of chilling text messages between Sheila Annette Agee and her son, 20-year-old Keith Eric Agee of Calvert, Ala.
The messages were exchanged just hours before he reportedly shot and killed the mother of his 2-year-old daughter inside a Pensacola Home Depot.
Sheila Agee, 50, was charged Monday with being a principal to 1st-degree murder after investigators uncovered text messages between Sheila and Keith Agee which were sent shortly before police say he shot and killed Brooklyn Sims inside a Home Depot in Pensacola.
Sheila Agee was taken into custody in Washington County (Ala.) — just after attending a balloon release for the victim — and will be extradited to Escambia County (Fla.), according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Texts released by the sheriff’s office Monday show Sheila Agee not only knew of her son’s plan to commit murder, but encouraged and helped coordinate it.
Here are the text messages in their entirety, as released by the ECSO. In these texts, “KA” is Keith Agee and “Momma” is Sheila Agee, according to the ECSO.
Warning: There is both offensive and violent language within the texts:

According to investigators, Escambia County deputies responded to the Home Depot on Davis Highway in Pensacola just before 1:30 p.m. Friday on what was initially reported as an active shooter situation.
When deputies arrived, they found 18-year-old Brooklyn Sims dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Sims was working at the store as a contract employee for a third-party company hired to do inventory.
Two others were injured in the shooting, both suffering graze wounds as they fled the scene. One of the two told deputies they were working on the same aisle as Sims and that Keith Agee said something briefly to Sims before firing about five rounds from his weapon, according to an arrest report obtained by WEAR.
According to the ECSO, a short time after the shooting, Keith Agee called the Pensacola Police Department from a pizza restaurant and turned himself in.
While Sheila Agee awaits extradition to Florida to be formally charged, Keith Agee remains in the Escambia County Jail, held without bond on charges of 1st-degree murder and aggravated battery. His next scheduled court appearance is set for Sept. 1 in Escambia County Circuit Court.
