Saraland quarterback KJ Lacey joined a select group of athletes as he went over 10,000 career yards passing in a 49-14 romp over McAdory in round two of the Class 6A playoffs at Spartan Stadium Friday night.

Lacey completed 15 of 23 passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns, all to CD Gill. Gill’s touchdown receptions covered 38, 15 and 6 yards. Santae McWilliams rushed 17 times for 152 yards and had touchdown runs of 15 and 20 yards, while Deshawn Spencer scored on a 5-yard run out of the Wildcat formation as the No. 1 Spartans remained unbeaten at 11-0.
