Miami (Fla.) had 374 passing yards and 77 rushing yards in a 48-33 victory on Sept. 9. Louisiana-Monroe had 127 rushing yards and 95 passing yards in a 47-3 loss on Sept. 16. Auburn had 144 rushing yards and 56 passing yards in a 27-10 loss on Sept. 23. Arkansas had 131 passing yards and 42 rushing yards in a 34-22 loss on Sept. 30. Alabama had 321 passing yards and 23 rushing yards in a 26-20 victory on Oct. 7.
1 SEC player with 2,000 receiving yards also has at least 250 rushing yards, punt-return yards and kickoff-return yards after Texas A&M WR Ainias Smith had four receptions for 88 yards in the Aggies’ 26-20 loss to Alabama last week to boost his career total to 2,043 receiving yards. Smith, who returned a punt 46 yards against Alabama, also has 389 rushing yards, 814 punt-return yards and 275 kickoff-return yards. Kentucky QB/WR Randall Cobb (2008-2010) is the only other SEC player who has at least 1,000 receiving yards to reach 250 yards in each of the other three categories.
2 Victories without a loss for Texas A&M against Tennessee in SEC competition. The Aggies beat the Volunteers 45-38 at Kyle Field on Oct. 8, 2016, and 34-13 at Neyland Stadium on Dec. 19, 2020. Tennessee and Texas A&M played two times before the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012, with the Vols winning both games. Tennessee posted a 3-0 victory in the Gator Bowl on Dec. 28, 1957, and 38-7 in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1, 2005. Saturday’s game is the first between the teams in which Texas A&M is not ranked.
3 Consecutive games with at least six sacks for Texas A&M. The Aggies had seven sacks in a 27-10 victory over Auburn on Sept. 23 and a 34-22 victory over Arkansas on Sept. 30 and six in a 26-20 loss to Alabama on Oct. 7. It’s the first three-game streak with at least five sacks in each for Texas A&M.
4.4 Sacks per game have been averaged by Tennessee, the best rate in the nation this season. No. 2 on the sack list is Texas A&M with an average of 4.33 sacks per game. Tennessee has allowed six sacks and Texas A&M has allowed 12 in 2023.

11 Consecutive games with a TD pass by Texas A&M QB Max Johnson when he’s thrown at least seven passes. Johnson made his first start of the 2023 season in the Aggies’ 34-22 victory over Arkansas on Sept. 30 after coming in when Conner Weigman got hurt in a 27-10 victory over Auburn on Sept. 23. Johnson has had at least one TD pass in each of his past eight appearances.
12 Consecutive home games have been won by Tennessee, the Volunteers’ longest home winning streak since a 23-game string that ended with a 27-23 setback against Florida on Sept. 16, 2000. The most recent loss for Tennessee at Neyland Stadium is a 41-17 defeat by Georgia on Nov. 13, 2021.
13 Field goals have been made by Texas A&M K Randy Bond, tied for the most in the nation this season.
22 Victories without a loss for Tennessee under coach Josh Heupel when the Volunteers are ahead at halftime. Tennessee is 0-9 under Heupel when it hasn’t led at halftime.
231 Rushing yards per game have been averaged by Tennessee this season, the most in the SEC. Texas A&M has yielded an average of 84 rushing yards per game, the fewest in the SEC.
263 Punt-return yards for Texas A&M WR Ainias Smith, the most in the nation this season. Smith has averaged 20.2 yards on 13 returns in 2023.
