4 Players in Alabama history have accumulated more yards of total offense than QB Bryce Young, who passed Brodie Croyle on the school’s career list last week even though a shoulder injury forced him out of the Crimson Tide’s 49-26 victory over Arkansas. Young boosted his total to 6,361 yards – 309 behind No. 4 Jalen Hurts in the school’s career rankings. The Alabama record-holder is AJ McCarron, with 8,969 yards of total offense from 2010 through 2013. Young set a school single-season record in 2021 with 4,872 yards of total offense.
7.39 Yards per rushing attempt have been averaged by Alabama, the highest figure in the nation. Texas A&M’s defense is yielding an average of 4.41 yards per rushing attempt.
11 Victories for Alabama and three victories for Texas A&M in the Crimson Tide-Aggies series. No. 15 Texas A&M upended top-ranked Alabama 29-24 on Nov. 10, 2012, in their first meeting as SEC rivals, and the unranked Aggies also upset the top-ranked Crimson Tide 41-38 on Oct. 9, 2021. In the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1, 1968, Texas A&M, under the direction of Gene Stallings, defeated Alabama, coached by Stallings’ mentor Paul “Bear” Bryant, 20-16.
26 Victories without a loss for Texas A&M under coach Jimbo Fisher when the Aggies held the lead at the end of the first quarter. When Texas A&M wasn’t in front after one period, its record under Fisher is 11-16. Alabama has outscored its opponents 83-6 in the first quarter this season.
36 Consecutive home games have been won in October by Alabama. The Crimson Tide hasn’t been beaten at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the 10th month since South Carolina took a 20-3 victory on Oct. 2, 2004. Eight of the victories in the streak have come against Tennessee.

108 Appearances at No. 1 in the AP poll by Alabama under coach Nick Saban. Alabama has held the top spot in the AP Poll 139 times – 34 more than any other program. Alabama’s appearances at No. 1 under Saban have come in past 222 AP polls after the Tide made 31 appearances at No. 1 in the previous 984.
206 Yards on 18 rushing attempts for Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs in a 49-26 victory over Arkansas last week. Gibbs turned in the 10th game by an SEC player in this century in which a ball-carrier averaged at least 11.4 yards on 18 or more rushing attempts. Among Crimson Tide players, Gibbs is the first ball-carrier in 26 years to produce those kind of numbers. On Nov. 9, 1996, in a 26-0 victory over LSU, Shaun Alexander averaged 14.6 yards on 20 carries for 291 yards to set Alabama’s single-season rushing record. Gibbs scored touchdowns against the Razorbacks on runs of 72 and 76 yards.
236 Yards per game have been allowed by the Alabama defense this season, the best average in the SEC. The Texas A&M offense has averaged 335 yards per game this season, the worst figure in the SEC.
288 Games have been played by Alabama since it was most recently shut out, a school record and the fourth-longest scoring streak in SEC history. Alabama’s most recent shutout loss came 9-0 to Auburn on Nov. 18, 2000.
321 Yards on 17 punt returns for Alabama’s Kool-Aid McKinstry, 81 more yards than any other player in the nation has in the 2022 season.
