Tennessee sisters found safe, mom in custody in Alabama
Update 8:13 p.m.: Journey and Daley Garrett have been found safe in Alabama. Their mother, Casey Campbell, has been taken into custody.
Original story: An Amber Alert has been issued in Tennessee for a 2-year-old girl and her 9-month-old sister whom authorities believe may be with their mother, who is wanted on kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearances, in Alabama, authorities said Monday.
Journey Garrett, 2, and Daley Garrett, 9 months, were last seen Wednesday in Shelbyville, Tennessee, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.
The sisters may be in Alabama with their non-custodial mother, 32-year-old Casey Campbell, near Powell, Alabama, according to the TBI.
Campbell is wanted by Shelbyville police on especially aggravating kidnapping charges, the agency said.
Journey was described as 2-feet tall, 30 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Daley was also described as 2-feet tall. She weighs 20 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Campbell is 5-feet 4-inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
