Tennessee man dies in north Alabama after vehicle strikes overturned truck
A Tennessee man died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Colbert County.
Senior Trooper Cody Farrar of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the incident happened at about 4:05 a.m. Wednesday on Alabama 20 near Ricks Lane, about three miles southwest of Leighton.
Brian M. Harralston, 35, of Parsons, Tenn., was driving a 2020 Ford F-150 that struck an unoccupied 2013 Freightliner bucket truck, which had previously crashed and was overturned in the roadway.
Harralston was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
