A 19-year-old was shot and killed in front of a home in Mobile on Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Center Street about 10:46 p.m. Police said they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

No one else was injured, but police said gunfire also struck a nearby occupied home and an unoccupied vehicle at another home on Center Street.
