Alabama State Troopers say an 18-year-old was killed Saturday night after a single-vehicle crash in Mobile County.

Police say the driver, who is from Irvington, was fatally injured when the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup the teen was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Troopers say the driver, who has not been publicly identified, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:01 p.m. Saturday on Irvington Bayou La Batre Highway near Easyway Street, about five miles southwest of Mobile in Mobile County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
